This isn’t funny.
You know I’m cold-sheeping, and you know why. I mean, do you like being crammed into too few plastic tubs and stuffed into drawers and ziplock bags? Not to mention, you’re beautiful, and luxurious, and wouldn’t you like to spend quality time being knit up, as opposed to languishing because you just keep growing exponentially larger? So, when I ask you for one thing, just one thing, is it really so hard to come up with enough yarn to make a freaking hat?
I understand my culpability in this-- I came home with a new pattern book and cast on all willy-nilly, not swatching and with only the slightest regard for the instructions about yarn weight-- but, can’t you work with me here? Please? We’re on the same side, truly we are… because if I have to go buy yarn in a complimentary/contrasting color, I’ll have to buy an entire skein-- even though I probably only need 10-20 more yards-- and then that will be one more skein added to you, and that much longer before the rest of you sees any action on the needles.
I know I’ve touched every one of your skeins already today, but we both know you’re magical and it’s totally possible I missed something. Think about it and get back to me. (With something that works with Malabrigo Rios in Solis.)
