wednesday knitting

I don't know how people who travel frequently for work do it.  I've gone down to California twice in the last month, for a total of not-quite two weeks between the two trips, and I'm exhausted. Not just generally tired, but specifically tired, of strange beds, restaurant food broken up by food I could eat in hotel rooms without refrigerators, and navigating cities that, while familiar, are not my city.

On the other hand, I have a job offer.  So, I'm not complaining too loudly.

I did knit almost an entire shawl on planes and in hotel rooms (and restaurants), but being almost done, it's outgrown purse-knitting status.  So, since I'm actively pretending I don't have five socks on the needles, I knit a puff whilst out and about today.

this would be puff #49 out of approximately 500 necessary for a twin-size blanket
What did you knit today?

Then it's good you are home and don't have to take the shawl with you. Will you show it when it's finished?
Food and vacation is a tricky combination.

Congratulations on the job offer. Good luck with all the forthcoming hexipuffs - that one is cute.
