I like blogging.
I just... get distracted, overwhelmed, or otherwise occupied, and then exhausted.
For instance, it took me three days to get this post up, and all my pictures are from before the sun came up/after the sun went down, in nasty artificial light. The formatting is still funky, and there aren't any links. Yet.
I'll assume this is something everyone experiences at one time or another and leave it at that... at least I got something up and out, right?
In the meantime... Fiber!
My QueenBee is my travel wheel, and supposedly the replacement for my Ladybug. I went looking for a wheel that (a) was portable, so I can easily take it to a class, and maybe even on a plane, (b) that didn't hurt to spin on, and (c) that I could get from my local yarn and spinning store, because I wanted to be absolutely sure of (a) and (b). The QB fits all three criteria, but frankly isn't as good a wheel as my Ladybug was, and I don't love spinning on it. That being said, it is completely convenient, and I have Charlotte, so I'm not too unhappy about the situation. I'm still hoping Majacraft will let Sandy (my spinning teacher) carry their wheels, and then I'll trade the QB in for a Little Gem at which point I will once again love all the spinning all the time.
In other crafting, my loom is empty because the kitten thinks it's the Best Perch Ever! and I'm hoping he gets big enough that we can stop having that argument. I've been pretty monogamous this month on my boring stockinette v-neck... it's almost at vest status, so in the last week or so I've reverted to hexipuffs for my commute. And, I decided to take up sewing... which has so far resulted in something that looks like a hackey sack and a slightly crooked eye pillow. I'm going to tackle a pencil skirt next.
So, how about some lists to round out this round up?
