I knew, when I cast on a couple days ago, that I ought to be casting on a second purple sock to match the one languishing in a corner of the living room (it's in a basket-- I'm not without all sense of decency). But somehow, I cast this on instead.
When it grows up it should be a Willamette Scarf (from Stumptown Knits) in Skein Merino/Cashmere Fingering, in the Whitewash colorway. This yarn is to-die-for yummy, and even though its not my usual palette, I kind of love the colors, too. That being said, the current plan for the future FO is to meet someone knit/cashmere-worthy who wears these colors between now and then, and make a gift of it.
It's been awhile since I took part in a WIPWednesday, but I've really enjoyed keeping up with everyone else's projects-- even though I mostly read without commenting due to time constraints. Thank you to Tami at Tami's Amis for hosting such a fabulous and consistent party!
