The fit is a little strange, but much, much better than the last sweater-- this time across the back and the arms fit perfectly, but I should have added width in the front if I wanted to close it... the design isn't supposed to close with overlapping fronts (like you normally have on sweaters with buttons), so I'll just always wear it open and call it intentional. The other strange thing is that there's a weird flare action going on at the bottom that appeared after I blocked it. That probably could have been avoided with a little more fabric in front as well. Doesn't matter-- I love my new sweater, and I keep trying to wear it, even though it's been in the eighties for a week.
Pattern: Ashfield Cardigan (from New England Knits)
Yarn: Hermosa Fiber Company Hermosa Sport in Zesty (3 skeins; I'm so sad she's closing up shop)
This FO post is brought to you by my mother, who gave me my graduation present a month early, thereby allowing me to have reliable photos again... any fuzziness in the future can now be considered user error. Thanks Maman!
